La Actriz estuvo la semana pasada en los Viñedos Cigarral Santa MarÃa, del Grupo Adolfo, donde se rodaron varias escenas para el tour que culminará con la emisión de un programa de televisión, que pretende difundir la gastronomÃa y cultura españolas entre los estadounidenses. La actriz y el resto del equipo tuvieron la oportunidad de disfrutar de una velada entrañable con toda la familia Adolfo.
El viaje de la oscarizada por la pelÃcula Shakespeare in Love quedará plasmado en una serie de 13 capÃtulos, Spain… on the Road Again, que emitirá el otoño próximo la cadena de televisión pública de Estados Unidos.
En compañÃa de la actriz española Claudia Bassols, el chef televisivo Mario Batali y el columnista del New York Times, Mark Bittman; Paltrow actuará como anfitriona, gracias al conocimiento que adquirió del idioma y costumbres españolas durante la temporada que vivió en Talavera de la Reina, como estudiante de intercambio
Como habla castellano y le gusta España, sobre todo las tierras toledanas donde vivió como estudiante adolescente, la popular actriz estadounidense Gwyneth Paltrow se va a convertir en turista inquieta por la piel de toro en una serie documental. Spain… On the road again, producida y dirigida por Charles Pinsky, experto en programas de cocina, pretende ser un escaparate de la gastronomÃa, la cultura, el paisaje, el arte y el ocio de las distintas comunidades españolas, que obviamente apoyan la iniciativa. Aunque los buenos vinos y la buena cocina serán parte esencial del guión, éste se irá improvisando basándose en las experiencias de los protagonistas.
