6 Febrero en Viñedos Cigarral Santa MarÃa se celebrará la Semifinal Concurso Mejor Cocinero del Año.
Concurso Cocinero del Año (CCA) es un evento gastronómico dirigido a chefs profesionales que se desarrolla a través de ocho semifinales que se celebran por toda España durante el transcurso de dos años.
El dÃa 6 de Febrero se celebrará en Viñedos Cigarral Santa MarÃa la Octava Semifinal correspondiente a las comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha y Extremadura, de este evento saldrá el octavo finalista que se enfrentará el 13 de marzo de 2008 en Barcelona a los otros 7 finalistas en la Gran Final Nacional de esta segunda edición.
En España hay muchos concursos de cocina promovidos por entidades locales o empresas, pero ninguno de las caracterÃsticas de Concurso Cocinero del Año.
De CCA cabe destacar que:
- Es un concurso de ámbito nacional.
- Orientado únicamente a profesionales del mundo de la cocina
- Las bases que se aplican en el concurso son las oficiales de la Wacs
(Word Association of Cooks Societies). - Con repercusión mediática.
- Con el apoyo de las empresas lÃderes del sector .
La presentación oficial de la 2ª edición
El jurado de las diferentes semifinales, compuesto por reconocidos cocineros, está presidido por el chef tres estrellas Michelin, MartÃn Berasategui. Como vicepresidente ejerce Jordi Cruz, elegido Cocinero del Año en la primera convocatoria del CCA y poseedor de una estrella Michelin.
Además de prestigio, reconocimiento profesional y repercusión mediática, el ganador del Concurso Cocinero del Año y los principales clasificados recibirán los siguientes premios:
- Ganador: 12.000 euros
- Segundo clasificado: 6.000 euros
- Tercer clasificado: 3.000 euros
- Del cuarto al octavo clasificado: 1.000 euros
Todos los participantes recibirán además un diploma que acredite su participación.
