II Premio Internacional de Gastronomía Don Quijote y Dulcinea
El Martes 18 de Noviembre tuvo lugar en el auditorio de Cuenca los Premios Internacionales de Gastronomía Don Quijote y Dulcinea, con la asistencia de las autoridades de Castilla La Mancha y prestigiosos empresarios y hosteleros, tanto del ámbito nacional como regional, como Adolfo Muñoz.
Los Premios Internacionales de Gastronomía Don Quijote y Dulcinea nacieron en el año 2007 con motivo del IV Centenario de la publicación de El Quijote, y por iniciativa de la Academia de Gastronomía de Castilla La Mancha y de la Fundación IV Centenario.
El ¨Premio Don Quijote¨, de carácter internacional, se fundamenta en el reconocimiento de las técnicas y propuestas de los cocineros más importantes del mundo, mientras el ¨Premio Dulcinea¨ está destinado a premiar al más insigne representante de la gastronomía de Castilla La Mancha.
El objeto de estos Premios es dar notoriedad a cocineros cuya trayectoria profesional mantenga un paralelismo de universalidad con nuestro afamado Don Quijote. Por este motivo, en su primera edición, el Premio recayó sobre las cuatro cocineras poseedoras de las tan afamadas tres Estrellas Michelín: Carme Ruscalleda, Nadia Santini, Luisa Marelli Vallazza y Annie Féolde.
Este año, el Jurado del Premio, formado por personas muy cualificadas del mundo de la gastronomía y la cultura, han decidido entregar el Premio Don Quijote a Ferrán Adriá (Restaurante El Bulli) y Jöel Robuchon (Restaurantes Jöel Robuchon), y el Premio Dulcinea a Manuel de la Osa (Restaurante Las Rejas).
Durante el acto de entrega de premios, que ha sido conducido por la presentadora Teresa Viejo, también hubo un recuerdo para la figura del restaurador conquense *Pedro Torres*, fallecido el año pasado. Los premiados estuvieron acompañados por destacadas personalidades del mundo de la cultura y la gastronomía como son el presidente de la Academia Española de Gastronomía, Rafael Ansón o el presidente de la Academia Castellano-Manchega, Carlos Falcó.

En el mismo día Adolfo Muñoz y su familia asistieron a los Premios Nacionales de Hosteleria, celebrado en Madrid por la noche en la Quinta de Jarama de Madrid. La Federación Española de Hostelería premia a las empresas que han apostado por grandes valores como la calidad, la responsabilidad social y la innovación tecnológica. Entre los premiados se encuentran, el restaurador José Luis Ruiz Solaguren, gran hombre de la hostelería española. Además también hubo reconocimientos como a Don Enrique Salamanca, presidente de la Asociación Provincial de Empresario de Hostelería y Turismo de Toledo y a Begoña Garijo, gerente de la Asociación Provincial de Albacete. Ferrán Adriá y Juli Soler fueron reconocidos por la unión entre
cocina y sala.
Las 75 organizaciones empresariales que integran FEHR son las responsables de proponer a los empresarios y empresas que hayan destacado por aspectos tan importantes como la innovación tecnológica, la calidad, la seguridad alimentaría, el compromiso con las personas con discapacidad, la promoción del patrimonio cultural español y la responsabilidad medioambiental.
Los galardonados en esta edición son: *José Luis Ruiz Solaguren, Grupo Áreas, José Ramón Andrés Puerta, Rte. Ojeda de Burgos, Rte. España de Lugo, Rte. la Sucursal de Valencia, Rte. Río Grande en Sevilla, Mc Donald’s España, Café Gijón, Rte. La Escuela de Vizcaya, Manuel Figuerola.
Y los reconocimientos se otorgaron a: Enrique Salamanca Tordera, Juan Mari Arzak, Mahou-San Miguel, Ferrán Adriá y Juli Soler, El País, E.S
de Hostelería Casa de Campo de Madrid, Doménech Biosca, Begoña Garijo Rodríguez.
