ADOLFO MUÑOZ INVITADO A PARTICIPAR EN LA FERIA FOOD&WINE FESTIVAL CELEBRADA EN AMSTERDAM, HOLANDA DEL 11 AL 13 DE ENERO.
Adolfo Muñoz y Javier Muñoz representaron este fin de semana a la Cocina Castellano Manchega y el vino de Castilla La Mancha en la Feria más importante en torno al mundo de la Restauración. Food & Wine Festival en el RAI que se celebraba entre 11 -13 de Enero 2009 en Amsterdam, Holanda.
Además Adolfo Muñoz también participo elaborando un menú Gastronómico basado en los productos de nuestra región. Un almuerzo en Vis & Ko Restaurant, propiedad de Imko Binnerts, uno de los restaurantes más prestigiosos de Haarlem.
Al día siguiente, Adolfo Muñoz y su hijo Javier Muñoz, fueron invitados a Wine Professional para realizar una presentación de la Armonía entre la Cocina y el Vino. Donde el arroz meloso, azafrán y queso manchego realizó un perfecta armonía con el vino Pago del Ama Cencibel 2006, vino de la Ciudad de Toledo.

LA EMPRESA AGFA PARTICIPE EN UN CONCURSO GASTRONÓMICO PRESIDIDO POR ADOLFO MUÑOZ EN VIÑEDOS CIGARRAL SANTA MARÍA.
Adolfo Muñoz ofreció ayer 16 de Enero del 2009 a la empresa AGFA una clase Magistral de gastronomía en la cual se les enseñó a preparar productos de la tierra de Castilla la Mancha como Migas y Gachas, pero la originalidad del evento consistía en que la elaboración era realizada por los propios clientes organizando un concurso entre ellos.
Adolfo Muñoz realizó una presentación de la denominación de Migas y Gachas y cuál es su materia prima y elaboración. A continuación se dividió a los participantes en 6 grupos de 7 personas, los cuales con un tiempo determinado de elaboración tenían que dejar terminados los platos.
Una vez finalizadas las Migas y las Gachas por parte de cada grupo, Adolfo Muñoz y su equipo de cocina hicieron una valoración de cada grupo y finalmente se eligió al ganador.
A continuación se ofreció un taller de preparación de postres con su correspondiente concurso, pero en este caso el sistema de concurso variaba. A los concursantes se les dió la siguiente materia prima: mazapán, bizcocho de aceite, frambuesas, fresón, azúcar glass, chocolate en polvo y en pastilla, vainilla en crema, frutos secos, agua miel, mosto y nata montada, y ellos mismos tenían que confeccionar el postre sin las instrucciones de ningún jefe de cocina.
El ganador fue elegido por Adolfo Muñoz y su equipo en el que valoraron la creatividad, originalidad, sabor, texturas y presentación de los platos.
AGFA disfrutó de una agradable jornada la cual finalizó en una cena en la Casa de la Vid con sus magnificas vistas a la ciudad de Toledo. El menú consistía en platos de la cocina actual de Adolfo Muñoz.
